Coach and Mentor
Do you feel alone and unheard in your journey?
Are you facing confusion and difficulty in your marriage?
Do you need Biblical solutions to relational challenges?
I support and mentor Christian women who are struggling with difficult situations, particularly those from an Anabaptist faith setting. My goal is to help Christian women connect with God and lean on Him for guidance through seemingly insurmountable troubles. I listen with compassion and encourage them to find their own voices and a path through the wilderness.
God can make a way where there seems to be no way!
"Julia has been very helpful in validating what I'm facing and not shaming me. Also having a listening ear and caring heart. She affirms me when I'm making progress. She's definitely there for me and I really appreciate her!"
-- Twila
"The most impactful thing has been the freedom to share, discuss, and learn in a safe and caring place. Having someone pray aloud over me about things I can't discuss with just anyone has meant so much. I've been learning so much from Julia."
-- Rebecca
I am an Anabaptist woman in my early sixties, with a heart for women who are experiencing difficulties and challenges. After marrying at 20, I lived with my husband for 17 years, before leaving with the children and moving to a different community. In those days, a separation like this was almost unheard of among our people, but with the support of church and family, we moved to a new community. I raised our four children and three foster babies as a single mom. It's been a long, hard road, but also a rewarding one.
Our Heavenly Father used many caring people to bless our struggling little family. And now I want to give back to other women who are experiencing betrayal, heartbreak, and confusion. I believe with all my heart that no matter what life brings our way, there is always hope. Jesus shines His light into the very darkest of circumstances and shows us the path forward. It takes courage to let down our guard and be vulnerable, but sometimes this is necessary in order to find our way to healing.
I am a certified Life and Health Coach and have had two years of social work education, as well as completing a year-long advocacy course through Called to Peace Ministries. This course taught me how to help women experiencing abuse, coercive control, and/or betrayal by their spouses.
Sometimes we just need the support of a human who listens,
understands our heartache, and is willing to pray with us.
